As a software engineer you will join and work with the team in the technology office that is helping define and implement cloud-native software services that will power our future Video and Access services .

You will be exposed to a number of state-of-the-art technologies including cloud platforms such as OpenStack, Azure, AWS and GCP. You will work with cloud technologies and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and help us build the next generation of video solutions.

Projects you may be involved in as a software engineering intern in this team include:

  • Designing and implementing software features for various video services/products.
  • Designing and developing scripts and processes to deploy, manage, scale and monitor cloud-based software systems.
  • Investigating new tools and technologies to incorporate into software development and deployment cycle
  • Testing software changes


  • Proficiency in one more high-level programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript
  • Competency in one or more scripting languages such as Perl, Python etc
  • Familiarity with software engineering methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, TDD etc
  • Strong systems knowledge, especially familiarity with Linux-based systems.
  • REST and Web services implementation experience and familiarity with modern REST frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration & Deployment models, processes and tools.
  • Experience with software engineering tools such as Git (source code control), Jira (bug tracking), Jenkins (CI) etc.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and micro-services architecture principles.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot and chase down problems in complex inter-connected systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills a plus.
  • Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate level degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a similar degree program with a graduation date on or after May 2020.
