Software lead engineer working on Wi-Fi solutions for Commscope line of Gateways and Extenders. Work closely with customers to understand their respective needs and create documentation matching their requirements.
Create sprint plans, design documentation and test specifications as they relate to software design. Develop high quality bug free software. Work with other Commscope team members to produce innovative solutions. Participate in, or lead the code review/inspection process. Triage customer or SQA reported defects. Be adaptive and responsive to both customer and market changes
Proficient in the C/C++ & Python computer languages. Expert in object Orientated Design/Development. Proficiency in the areas of Networking and Wi-Fi. Working knowledge of DOCSIS and RDK-B a plus. Familiarity with version control systems, defect tracking, and the sprint/scrum process is required. Must be self motivated, exhibit leadership qualities, be adaptive and willing to work with a large global work force.
BS/MS Computer Science/Engineering, with 6+ years of experience developing embedded Linux platforms.
