Job Description

We're looking for engineers to work with the Ruckus Cloud. This project offers interesting opportunities for building innovative services. We are looking for engineers who see the big picture, can span the breadth of the product, jump into the depths of different topics and bring fresh ideas into various areas.

The mission of our team is to build the plumbing in the cloud infrastructure that makes the cloud services deployment simple and fast. For the cloud team it also includes aspects of large-scale system design, networking, security, configuration and automatic VM orchestration and many more areas.

We are looking for new grads to participate in this next generation cloud platform.

Qualifications: Education: BS in Computer Science, MS in Computer Science.

Programming Language experience: Python, Java

 

 

Project Description: Create prototype of Build Microservice release dashboard application

·       Application will be main interface for development, testing and management staff to clearly bring together end-to-end delivery and quality metrics of each Microservice

·       Build Frontend on Google Cloud Platform with authenticated role based access control

·       Build Backend to gather data from various sources (REST API). Examples include:

·       Git Repositories – code commits

·       Build System – test results, code coverage, etc.

·       Google Container Registry – image tags and other metadata

·       Deployment System or Google Container Engine (Kubernetes) – deployment metadata

·       Issue Tracking System – Issues fixed

·       Microservice Monitoring System – key health metrics

·       Implement limited actions on Build or Deployment system through role based access control

·       Ad-Hoc queries to answer management questions

 

Learning Opportunities:

·       Learn how to quickly develop and deploy full stack application on Google Cloud Platform

·       Learn how to model, store and retrieve structured and unstructured data using Google

·       Learn about Microservice development and deployment lifecycle, including Docker containers, Kubernetes.
