This role provides opportunity to work on Ruckus Enterprise ICX/FCX switches being deployed in Datacenter, Campus and Federal Market Segments.

In this role, candidate will have one or more of the following responsibilities.

Review Functional Specifications and Design Specifications, analyze requirements, architecture, and design topology, develop test plan, and deliver high quality software using the latest technologies and innovations in a timely manner.

Customer is always right hence understanding customer requirements and adhere to their needs is at most important. Review and sign off on requirements documents.

Work with developers, QA, TME, PM, Documentation & Customer Support teams as needed. Architect, design, develop, test, and solve features or functions.

Interact cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines.

Participate in full product life cycle development. Automation of end to end testing and solution is also key to the role.

Provide team support by motivating others, facilitating team activities and organize team- work into a process- oriented manner.

Show Technical excellence and become responsible for cultivating, implementing and monitoring the product technical and excellence and deliver the highest quality.

Candidate also need to show team spirit and desire to experiment and try new things and be innovative.

Be responsible for organize accumulated knowledge and information gained by the team and make it available to retrieve whenever needed by any team member.

Qualifications - External

  • B.S. Degree in CS/EE or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience
  • Experience in Campus and DC switching technologies : L3 Protocols (OSPF, BGP, PBR, IPv6), VxLAN, Multicast, Stacking, Security, FIPS/CC certifications, Openflow and L2 Protocols (STP, RSTP), ACL, SNMP, LACP, LAG, Cloud Management / Computing.
  • Experience with QA concepts, methodology, and managing releases and delivering cross- functional business values.
  • Certifications - CCNA (or higher) certification or equivalent is desired.
  • Strong automation experience in Tcl or Python a must. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to properly reproduce and document customer issues.
  • Proficiency in using in-depth troubleshooting to resolve or work-around customer issues.
