We are looking to add a Sales Acceleration-Business Development Manager to join our team to be based anywhere in the US, near a major airport.

What to Expect:

As a Sales Acceleration-Business Development Manager, you support the Americas Region and will be responsible for the implementation of Americas region channel and strategic growth initiatives along with supporting Ruckus Networking. You will have the opportunity to identify key areas for revenue growth and implement cross-functional initiatives to achieve growth with occasional travel required.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Having responsibility for all revenue associated with growth markets such as Cloud, OEMs, new verticals, new technologies, and go-to-market programs as they emerge
  • Owning the key sales and business relationships within the growth priorities
  • Analyzing the market, determine areas for growth focus.
  • Analyzing and determining current barriers to growth.
  • Successfully deliver the go-to-market plans for growth including market analysis, customer and partner trends, creating value propositions, revenue forecasting, as well as sales programs to ensure success
  • Coordinating, advising, and overseeing the development of planning and execution in the regional sales organizations tied to growth initiatives
  • Developing and implementing operational changes for the sales organization and ensure that they are implemented for growth to ensure a successful go-to-market such as ease of doing business, promotions, and sales process
  • Addressing client issues so that a high degree of client satisfaction is maintained and recommend to management ways to improve the firm’s business as appropriate.
  • Identify and pursue partnerships and business development opportunities to support the company strategy for growth
  • Have responsibility for the overall internal and external sales enablement for strategic initiatives, new solutions, and product introductions
  • Presenting the growth initiatives to channels and ensure via events, workshops, and press
  • Working closely with HQ-based sales, marketing, product management to deliver content and insight to the business


Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8 plus years in Networking or B2B technology industry background.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to provide quality leadership to a large team of salespeople
  • Able to influence both HQ teams and field sales teams, not within a direct line of reporting.
  • Strong communication and IT fluency
  • Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skill in prioritizing and delivering on obligations
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organization
