The DAS & Small Cells Business Unit builds the market-leading distributed antenna system portfolio including ERA, ONECELL small cell portfolio and RUCKUS CBRS access points.
Our growing Product Marketing Team is hiring for a Lead for DAS & Small Cells, you will be part of the portfolio marketing team responsible for CommScope’s $2B Venue & Campus Networks (VCN) business segment that encompasses building connectivity infrastructure, enterprise networking and DAS & small cells.
You’re responsible for go-to-market strategy and tactics, messaging, naming, positioning, content creation and sales and channel enablement for the complete product line. This role draws on both your product marketing and marketing skills, as well as your technical understanding of the product set and familiarity with the various target markets.
The role reports to the VP, Portfolio Marketing for Venue & Campus Networks.
What you will do:
Employ and execute against product marketing best practices across the entire product lifecycle, from strategy (pre-launch), to execution (launch), to growth (post-launch).
Develop marketing strategies and tactics to address multiple buying organizations: mobile operators, enterprises, neutral hosts, and channel partners, such as systems integrators and distributors.
Establish and ensure consistent messaging across all content types for your products; collaborate with PMM counterparts in other BUs to develop consistent messaging across product categories, e.g. cellular and Wi-Fi.
Implement a comprehensive marketing launch process for your products.
Partner with field and corporate marketing to ensure successful awareness, consideration and purchase campaigns outcomes for multiple target buyer organizations.
Define and execute against an ongoing content plan to address thought leadership, the marketing funnel and sales and channel enablement.
Represent and act as spokesperson for your products with analysts, press, partners, end customers and the public.
Optimally coordinate with others in multiple organizations to contribute to the achievement of the above
What you have done:
Proven ability to execute against the above requirements for a wireless infrastructure product or product family along with technical aptitude.
The ability and established a reputation for strong written and oral communications, including speaking effectively in public settings.
optimally lead and coordinate with others outside of your immediate department, e.g. product management, marketing.
Meaningful experience with and knowledge of DAS and/or small cell products
Keen attention to detail
Passion for and curiosity about wireless technologies
Technical undergraduate degree preferred
