Ruckus is competing and winning share in the Education markets (K-12 and Higher Education) as our next area of business growth. Schools who deploy Ruckus networks are elevating the classroom experience by providing a safe and reliable digital learning environment. To enable the growth we are hiring Vertical Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include:

The vertical marketing manager will create and update messaging, build awareness and drive lead flow in our target market segments. This requires a deep understanding of the industry buyers, their behavior, and channels of communication. It also requires working closely with product marketing, product management, field marketing, channel partners and sales teams.

· Develop messaging for within target education segments

· Author sales/marketing tools, including web pages, blogs, solution briefs and other collateral

· Provide content for digital marketing campaigns and website to support sales pipeline creation

· Work with and train partners to implement education-specific marketing programs

· Identify industry trends and establish thought leadership through media including blogs, industry media, trade shows, social media and delivering webinars

· Train inside sales, field sales teams and channel partners on vertical specific messaging and resources

· Support major education-related field events such as ISTE, CETPA and FETC



· Possess leadership skills combined with technical capabilities and market/business knowledge

· Competitive mindset and desire to win

· Strong written and verbal communications skills

· Possess solid team-work and persuasion skills

· Self-starter who can multi-task and set priorities

· Experience working in or marketing to K-12/primary education or higher education markets

· Demonstrated experience in developing vertical messaging connecting business needs to technology solutions

· Thrive in a high energy, fast growth environment

· Knowledge of US E-Rate program a plus

· BA in business, marketing or equivalent (MBA a plus)
