General Summary

The strategic account marketer will be responsible for the prioritization, planning, execution and measurement of account-based marketing programs, in agreed accounts.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Overall responsibility for the development of account-based marketing strategies for agreed accounts, in close collaboration with sales.
Compilation of account specific marketing plans and goals, in alignment with sales, to guide the development and execution of account marketing programs.
Responsibility for the planning and execution of a multitude of marketing programs, including account intelligence, demand creation, reputation support and sales enablement, to support account sales goals.
Provide ongoing data and insight on accounts and contacts, building expertise in account needs, so as to drive increasing engagement with targeted accounts.
Development and execution of creative and innovative marketing programs to promote the CommScope brand.
Spearhead the development of outstanding engagement and demand generation programs: to include the leveraging of content, digital, IP, social, In-bound and out-bound marketing channels, and online and off-line event marketing.
Orchestrate and lead ongoing account check-ins with account teams to ensure account goals, key contacts and account plans track to plan & ongoing requirements and modifications,
Ownership and accountability for success measures to drive growth in the accounts: gain buy-in for measurement models from key stakeholders.
Measure analyze and report on the impact of account-based marketing on account engagement and pipeline: Support the quarterly business reviews as appropriate.
Identify internal and external resources for use in marketing execution for accounts.
Define and manage budget allocation for account-based marketing program.
Learn, leverage and apply the latest industry Account Based Marketing techniques
Collaborate with regional marketing to scale successful account programs to a larger community of named accounts and /or industry segments in the region.


SKILLS REQUIRED

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

Bachelor’s degree in related curriculum required (marketing, business, sales management, communications or similar business degree)
5-7 years relevant, customer facing marketing experience
Minimum of 1-2+ years’ experience with a marketing automation suite &/sales automation platform
Ability to leverage data and insights in the development of marketing plans aligned to account strategies
Database management (segmentation, reporting, and maintenance)
Excellent understanding of the latest digital, social, inbound, outbound and customer marketing techniques
Demonstrated skills and competencies in the following: strategic mindset, customer focus, courage, managing complexity and organizational savvy.
Experienced and knowledgeable in driving marketing programs in the Service Provider and Enterprise space.
Strong communication and networking skills
A customer centric mind-set
Strong interest in working across international geographies, economies and cultures
Demonstrated passion for marketing and an entrepreneurial spirit
Flexibility to travel to attend relevant internal, sales and customer meetings.
Position location: Flexible within NAR (North America) region for NAR accounts, at one of CommScope’s key locations.
