We are looking to add a Director of Sales Acceleration to join our team to be based anywhere in the US, near a major airport.

What to Expect:

As Director, Sales Acceleration, you will lead a small team responsible for the transformation of our sales and partner communities aligned to the strategic growth areas of the business.

The position will report to the Vice President of Americas and will be a critical part of the Americas Strategic Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have had direct sales or sales management experience combined with experience with business development, strategy, or marketing roles.

You Will Make an Impact By:
  • Owning the evolution of sales strategies to penetrate target markets and expand the business.
  • Growing revenue associated with growth markets such as Cloud, OEMs, new verticals, new technologies, and go-to-market programs as they emerge
  • Analyzing the market, resolve areas for growth focus
  • Successfully deliver the go-to-market plans for growth including market analysis, customer and partner trends, crafting new value propositions, revenue forecasting, as well as sales programs to ensure success
  • Developing and implementing operational changes for the sales organization and ensure that they are implemented for growth to ensure a successful go-to-market such as ease of doing business, promotions, and sales process
  • Having responsibility for the overall internal and external sales enablement for pivotal initiatives, new solutions, and product introductions
  • Continuing to build and elevate the caliber of the team.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:
  • 10+ years of sales experience and with 2 to 3 years of people management experience.
  • Able to influence both HQ teams and field sales teams, not within a direct line of reporting.
  • Excellent communication and IT proficiency.
  • Creative talents and the ability to seek tough problems.
  • Functional experiences in sales and business development with experience managing and working with cross-functional teams.
  • A track record of motivating change across a matrix organization.
  • A passion for building winning teams.
  • A technical aptitude and the capacity to credibly articulate high-level technical features and benefits.
  • Understanding of networking technologies and experience in the industry.
  • Experience with customer buying processes and the functioning of a sales cycle.
  • Experience developing and growing Partner & Distributor relationships.
