Due to growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for Market Development Manager to join our team. This role can be based anywhere in the US.

How you’ll help us connect the world:

Ruckus is going for and winning share in the Education markets (K-12 and Higher Education) as our next area of business growth. Campuses that deploy Ruckus networks are elevating the classroom experience by providing a safe and reliable digital learning environment.

You will create and update messaging, build awareness and drive lead flow in our target market segments. This requires a deep understanding of the industry buyers, their behavior, and channels of communication. It also requires working closely with product marketing, product management, field marketing, channel partners, and sales teams.

You will support major education-related field events such as EDUCAUSE, BETT UK, THETA and train inside sales, account sales teams and channel partners on vertical-specific messaging and resources.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree with 5 plus years of related experience.
  • Able to influence both HQ teams and field sales teams, not within a direct line of reporting.
  • Validated coaching and mentoring skills combined with technical capabilities and market/business knowledge.
  • Creative talents and the ability to seek tough problems.
  • Functional experiences in sales and business development with experience managing and working with cross-functional teams.
  • A track record of motivating change across a matrix organization.
  • Passionate about adding value to our customers and thus to all promoting
  • Succeeds in a high energy, fast-growth environment.
