Due to growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for a Federal Program Manager to join our team. This role will allow you to work anywhere in the US.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Assists in managing data regarding Country of Origin (COO) for Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliance.
  • Budget management experience
  • Familiarity with the US Government clearance process (FSO not required), familiar with tracking clearances for company
  • Act as the Federal Point of Contact for order processing and escalation of unique federal requirements.  Access to SFDC, Dynamics, Oracle / SAP will be required for this role.
  • Identifying compliance gaps and analyze sales needs in existing Federal order and compliance processes.  Propose solutions to improve cross functional communications with Marketing, IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, Channel, logistics and Sales. Monitor federal customer and partner focused processes for adherence to company and federal requirements to enhance sales efficiencies, the partner experience and consistency in compliance.
  • Work with Product management and trade compliance to keep an updated list of GSA partners and TAA Compliant Products. Monitor new products in conjunction with the Federal SE Director and Federal VP and Sales Operations for build plans and alternate source requests.
  • Monitor and ensure correct processing of orders from Federal Systems integrators and Distribution partners. Escalate issues to Logistics for resolution with notification to the VP of Federal.
  • Primary POC ensuring proper routing and timely processing of Pre award / Proposal Reps and Certs, T’s and C’s and other required federal documentation is completed and tracked in association with CommScope Legal and Product Management.
  • Work with Legal to ensure post award routing, approval and compliance of Reps and Certs and required government compliance documents needed to transact business with Partners and the Federal government.
  • Manage all security clearance activities and communications necessary for the success of the Federal Sales Organization.
  • Coordinate a Federal Quarterly report by compiling input from the Federal management team.
  • Coordinate a Federal Business Plan assembly by compiling input from the Federal Management team. 

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, for example, PMP or Federal Government contracting background
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience managing federal sales programs/operations
  • Knowledge of federal procurement practices and contract vehicles (GSA contract vehicles, Schedule70, BPAs, GWACs, OTAs)
  • Familiar with the process of issuing Letters of Supply
  • Experience in reviewing federal contract and purchase orders for reps and certs, terms & conditions, shipping requirements in conjunction with legal department review
  • Experience with both direct and multilevel sales models to the US federal Government
