CommScope is looking to add a Key Account Director to support two large, retail accounts in the Twin Cities area. The ideal candidate will be based in the territory.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World.

Here, you will develop a validated and positive relationship with two of CommScope’s most meaningful strategic, retail customers. This product portfolio helps to simplify the delivery, management, and support of sophisticated subscriber services, helping you consumers up with the steady stream of new devices and customer demands for more bandwidth, mobility, and choice. You will use existing relationships with key partners, develop new relationships with business unit leaders to understand their challenges and to influence their perspective of CommScope solutions.

Reporting into our VP of Product Management, cross-functionally you will work to ensure that the customer’s needs are met and align with CommScope’s strategic goals and initiatives. As the primary contact on the accounts, you will have responsibility for complete customer happiness, building and maintaining positive relationships. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a small team of distributors who will assist to support these key customers.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 10+ years of related experience with 5+ years of proven ability in handling large, key accounts.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting retail customers.
  • Expert interpersonal skills with the ability to correspond with a wide variety of partners.
  • Advanced client management and presentation skills with a validated technical understanding of groundbreaking technology.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience with creativity around marketing and merchandising and how to tell a story.
  • Previous in-home networking or electronics experience.
  • Previous New Product Introduction (NPI) experience.
