Due to demand, CommScope is hiring Manufacturing Support personnel for the Catawba, NC manufacturing plant. REQ (58477)
Work Safely in a team environment to reprocess returned cable reels for salvage and disposition.
Job will require disassembling and disposing of cable reel components as well as sorting and preparing components for shipping. This job also requires the ability to distinguish between different size reels and components as well as orderly stacking and banding components for disposition and shipping.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools such as hammers, air guns, etc.
PPE to include safety shoes, gloves, face coverings and or shields and hearing protection is required.
Completed High School Diploma or equivalent.
Successful background check and drug screening.
Required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell for periods up to 12-hours.
Ability to stand and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, with assistance, up to 100 pounds.
Once trained, work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work a 12-hour shift
