Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.

  1. ALIGN WORK IN PROCESS BUN ON MACHINE TO BE CUT.
  2. REMOVE ANY TOP SKIN/ SHEETS NOT NECESSARY FOR ORDER REQUIREMENTS.
  3. KEY IN PROGRAM ON CNC FOR NEXT BUN CUTTING.
  4. START MACHINE, CHECKING FOR ACCURACY IN THE CUTTING PROGRAM.
  5. MARK ORDER COMPLETE AND PREPARE TAKE OFF PERSONNEL FOR OFF LOADING.
  6. SET CNC FOR NEXT BUN AND REPEAT PROCEDURE.
  7. CHANGE BLADE AND PERFORM DAILY MAINTENANCE WHEN REQUIRED.
  8. ASSISTS IN INVENTORY

QUALIFICATIONS

TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY. EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GENERAL EDUCATION DEGREE (GED); OR ONE TO THREE MONTHS RELATED EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

ABILITY TO READ A LIMITED NUMBER OF TWO AND THREE SYLLABLE WORDS AND TO RECOGNIZE SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES BETWEEN WORDS AND BETWEEN SERIES OF NUMBERS. ABILITY TO PRINT AND SPEAK SIMPLE SENTENCES.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

ABILITY TO ADD AND SUBTRACT TWO DIGIT NUMBERS AND TO MULTIPLY AND DIVIDE WITH 10’S AND 100’S. ABILITY TO PERFORM THESE OPERATION USING UNITS OF AMERICAN MEASUREMENT. ABILITY TO USE RULER AND OTHER MEASUREMENTS WHEN NECESSARY. ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE USE OF BAUMER PROGRAMS.

REASONING ABILITY

ABILITY TO APPLY COMMON SENSE UNDERSTANDING TO CARRY OUT VARIOUS INSTRUCTIONS. ABILITY TO DEAL WITH STANDARDIZED SITUATIONS INVOLVING THE BAUMER MACHINE.
