Due to our continuous growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interesting and available Manager, Project for an opportunity located in Richardson, Texas

General Summary: 
The Project / Analyst Manager takes the lead over development project teams and owns schedules and budgets, taking into consideration the BU Team member input.  He/she manages and ensures critical processes within the BU and engages with internal project stakeholders to turn projects into solutions within the constraints of timing, product requirements, profitability and budget (cost).

The Project / Analyst Manager is fully accountable to the Core Team for his/her projects.  Incumbent is required to provide leadership within the project team, responsible for execution of development projects in line with agreements/contracts within the Core Team and overall business unit strategy.  The PM manages all issues and roadblocks within a project and affects every part of the organization involved in a project execution.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the project team:

 

Provide analysis and assistance where needed with respect to monthly Operational and Supply Chain KPI’s

Take the lead on or assist with special projects and/or analyses for BU management

Provide and Prepare analytical research to improve BU operations improvements projects.

Defines and leads the project team in completing all project phases, deliverables and activities.
 
Develop project schedules and lead the team to execute to the plan.  Effectively apply PMO methodologies to keep projects on track and to enforce project standards.

Able to Support the BU leader with Business idea Proposals and presentation to achieve overall goals


Help in Developing a BU Ops KPI dashboard to monitor and capture actuals on regular basis and take action/recommendations/report on Variances.

Support the BU Leader in achieving the Operational BU goals via analytical support, project review and execution. 
 
2. Responsible for development projects:
Management of project budget and cost requirements.
 
Monitoring of project forecasts and corresponding impact to project justification.
 
Accountable for detailed work plan of each project phase.
 
Project tracking relative to project contract with Core Team.

Minimize exposure and risk on projects through contingency planning and risk mitigation. 

Ample experience with financial / operational;/ SC analysis (manufacturing environment is preferred) including business analysis, planning, forecast projections, variance analysis, AND KPI Management
 
3. Coordination with Core Team and Management:
Accountable to the BU leader.

Requests and is responsible for project budgets. 

Resolves project and functional conflicts.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Completed Bachelor's degree (i.e, Business Administration, Finance Engineering ) plus 5 years relevant experience as a Project Manager or Analyst.

At least 5 years’ experience in using project scheduling and Analytical tools.

 
Proven and demonstrated project planning expertise.
 
Solid understanding of financial data and project financial indicators.

Broad understanding of all business processes affecting project & KPI execution.

Strong financial acumen and business savvy

Strong Skills in analytics (MS Suite. Excel as strong point)

Strong influencing and communication skills.
 
Proven skills in leading, developing, influencing and managing teams.
 
Able to check both financial and technical feasibility of different opportunities.
 
Good judgment and timely decision-making skills.

Competent negotiator with willingness to engage in constructive conflict.
 
Ability to work in a matrix managed environment

Ability to effectively manage both horizontally and vertically; communicate with all management levels in the organization.

Initiator/motivator; pro-active attitude

Excellent communication skills in English, both in written and verbal form.
 
Willingness to travel (up to 15%)
