Our Converged Network group is hiring Systems QA Engineer to join our growing team .

This position involves the test and integration of data and video elements in the overall broadband access architecture implemented by a cable Multiple System Operator (MSO). These system elements can include DOCSIS data devices, ethernet switches, MPEG video devices, server class computers, and Passive Optical Network devices.

You will be involved with the creation of test procedures based on a set of system requirements. These test procedures will instruct the user on the step by step execution of tests on the system to ensure it meets the requirements attribute for its operation.

You'll execute all tests in the document and create test and bug reports based on the results of the testing. In addition, you will interact with the broader system development team as required in order to assist in the troubleshooting of issues found during testing.

Good trouble-shooting skills will be a key element of the position.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn how the full system should operate and think like a system engineer. It will be key to understand not only the low-level design details of a component in the system but how those components relate to and interact to comprise the overall system architecture.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have Bachelors Degree with proven experience along with the good written and oral skills.

Understand IPv4/IPv6 networking details, system integration, computer server technology, computer script writing.

You should be able to decompose a set of written requirements into precise test steps, enjoy working in lab environment which will include the construction of test stations using all the components under test, can move quickly from one task to a different one,

Willing to work in a fast paced position with challenging requirements,

Loves working on a small close knit team, fast learner who is willing to put in the effort to learn new technologies and apply their current knowledge to the tasks at hand.
