Emergency Management and Environmental Compliance / Full-time / Various Shifts ( Posted 01/06/2020)
Performs a variety of activities involving data collection, organization, and dissemination of information for the Environment of Care Committee and Subcommittees. Serves as Safety Officer, coordinating EOC inspections, gathers and distributes ongoing current information regarding risks, deficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the Environment of Care program. Assumes all other Safety Officer duties as included in Hospital Policy EC-101.
Education and Credentials Required:
Associate degree in appropriate/applicable concentration, or high school diploma with supplemental three years experience in a related field.
Proven previous experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office work group software. Knowledge of medical terminology and Healthcare Safety Standards. Familiarity with The Joint Commission, OSHA and related federal/state regulations.
Bachelor’s degree with related experience in an acute hospital setting.
