Our Wireless Product Management Team is looking for an innovative Director who is passionate about developing differentiated hardware products (Access Points, Controllers, LTE WAN Gateways, IOT) with a compelling software and solutions vision.

How You'll help us connect the world:
Responsible for the Wireless Converged Access Points P&L business and lead a team to meet the strategic and financial objectives for these products within Ruckus Networks
Own product planning and roadmap for wireless hardware business (access points, network controllers, gateways, IoT) in collaboration with management, cloud, and analytics offerings
Responsible for the AP platform full software stack roadmap and requirements – features that differentiate us, customizations for verticals, new architectures to support 3rd party applications, standard certifications & compliance, RF innovations, etc.
Effectively engage with chip vendors, Contract Manufacturers, and third-party partners to understand technology advancements and cost trends
Partner with Sales to own key business metrics - revenue, costs, sell-through, discounting, pricing, and margins
You will own responsibility for the Product Lifecycle – from product idea inception to product EOL (for both - hardware, and software)
As an internal specialist and resident SME, you will actively work with the Engineering, Field SEs and TMEs on customer issues, product differentiations, competitive insights, partner engagements
Serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for the company on the Ruckus BU products and technology and specifically on the Converged AP product line
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure successful launch of products including Field webinars, Sales training, industry events, etc.
Able to make critical decisions on limited data by multi-functional team members
Experience with WLAN Hardware product development and with major WLAN chipset vendors
Experience with system development (HW + SW + Cloud)
B.S Degree required and/or MBA is preferred along with 10+ years of experience in product management with proven market and technical knowledge of networking in Wi-Fi, Security, SD-WAN, and Switching
Ability to thrive in a fast-pace, multifaceted and sometime ambiguous environment while handling challenging priorities
Ability to challenge status quo and influence individuals/teams across hierarchies and functions to achieve desired business outcomes
Ability to synthesize information from different sources to form own opinion and gain support from others
