CommScope is hiring a Product Line Manager - Small Cell Management System to join our team. While Lowell, MA is the preferred work location, we are also open to having this position work out of any of our following locations - Richardson TX, Austin,TX, Sunnyvale CA, Shakopee MN or Forest, VA

General Summary

Seeking a Product Manager for CommScope's Small Cell Management System product line. You will be responsible for the Management System of CommScope Small Cells portfolio, including Licensed and Shared Spectrum Small Cells. We are looking for an enthusiastic product champion that can take total product line ownership & responsibility to help CommScope expanding its leadership in both Public and Private Networks markets. In a highly dynamic environment, you will work to create the most compelling products and solutions offering by analyzing market trends and customer needs, creating product vision and strategy, defining requirements and driving the product throughout its entire life cycle. In this position you will also be responsible to identify and manage strategic partnerships to provide an end-to-end Management solution to Service Providers and Enterprise customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage in regular use cases & requirements discussions with internal & external customers
  • Identify features & solution gaps
  • Create & prioritize an impactful roadmap with multiple influencing factors like timing, delivery schedule, market requirements in mind.
  • Author detailed PRDs for engineering defining feature/ solution details guiding the engineering teams to execute on
  • Drive response to customers RFI and RFP
  • Define user flows, approve architecture & UX designs
  • Drive productization initiatives including product documentation, feature description & introductory videos
  • Train Tech Support, NPI and Sales teams on new releases regularly
  • Articulate use cases & requirements for Management solutions addressing Service Providers and Enterprise markets
  • Identify use cases and requirements for a complete & future-proof solution approach for Management System to support different service models for Public and Private Networks
  • Closely drive the release schedule with Program Management and ensure deliverables are on track SW readiness report, product documentation, early demos
  • Identify and manage interactions with solution partners to integrate product portfolio
  • Define use cases & requirements for both Cloud, On-prem and Hybrid Management System solutions, including Service Management and Analytics, Orchestration and Edge Cloud Infrastructure Management

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a related curriculum.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Small Cells / Network Management product management
  • Proven track record of successful products & solutions launches
  • Comprehensive knowledge of managing the complete product life cycle
  • Solid understanding of Openstack, VMware, Kubernetes, Cloud/Virtualization/NFV/SDN Architecture
  • Solid understanding of NMS/OSS/EMS/OAM Systems/Solutions architecture
  • Experience in Agile product development process
  • Deep understanding of Service Providers and/or Enterprise wireless networks, including use cases, key needs, challenges and product requirements
  • Experience with both Cloud and On-prem Management Systems product introduction
  • Experience with EMS North Bound integration into Service Providers NMS
  • Good technical understanding of end-to-end LTE and NR connectivity protocols with a focus on OAM interfaces using TR069/NetConf/YANG and O-RAN interfaces
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, presentations, motivation, target setting and team building
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work and drive alignment within cross-functional teams

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP is nice to have
