Due to growth in customer demand, CommScope is looking for a Staff Industrial Engineer for our Claremont NC facility.
How you'll help us connect the world:
As a part of our global manufacturing team, this role analyzes production processes to optimize material flow, efficiency, and yield. Crafts production standards in collaboration with management and other key partners. Execute process documentation and prepare production reports. Develop and implement process improvements and recommending technological solutions where applicable. This role will be instrumental in designing optimum facility layout and resolving personnel requirements as well as training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals. Recording and analyzing manufacturing processes to determine standard methodologies and develop standard work instructions for manufacturing processes. Develop a systematic approach to tracking long term projects, making sure that the issues are handled and brought to closure.
Required Qualifications for consideration:
• A completed bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field with 5 years in a manufacturing engineering or in a similar role
• Organizational capability to sustain results through systems, knowledge of Production equipment and Manufacturing processes
• Proven expertise in MS Office, analytical skills, managing changes, Communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Detail oriented and customer focused with an ability to effectively interact and influence personnel of different levels and subject areas
You will excite us if you:
Possess significant experience with ERP and reporting tools. Have strong Lean Manufacturing Experience with either a Green or Black Belt certification or Lean Six Sigma
