Design and set up test beds, test automation infrastructure to exercise and test access networks based on customer and company test plans. Act as a subject matter expert for 802.11 Wi-Fi standards (legacy and upcoming). Automate rate and reach, throughput and protocol compliance testing using Ixia, IxChariot tools. Work closely with engineering to integrate and validating Docker and container solutions. Build new automation framework to allow software engineers and testing engineers to create test cases, write test scripts and executing tests. Understand product requirement documents (PRD), engineering requirement specifications (ERS), customer lab, production scenarios and creating new feature test cases in a test management system. Troubleshoot issues discovered in customer labs, log defects in defect tracking system and assisting internal teams in debugging issues reported by the customers. Ensure all test activities meet customer defined processes and deadlines.
Bachelors’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 6 years of work experience
