We are looking for highly talented software engineer as part of Enterprise Internet of Things (IoT) group. You will be working with a highly motivated team on cutting-edge wired and wireless IoT radio technologies, services, protocols and standards. You will be developing next-gen enterprise grade IoT gateway products that will enable carriers and enterprises to securely onboard, manage, monitor, troubleshoot exploding number of IoT devices and associated services. You will work in a fast paced development environment and address complex architectural problems with simple and innovative designs.
Work across all phases of software development lifecycle ( Analysis, Design, Implementation, Deployment and Support)
Design and implement software features and enhancements related to IoT Gateway and related radio technologies and protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, LoRa, WiFi etc.
Collaborate effectively with technical partners and software and hardware teams spread across the geos
Communicate technical ideas and directions across the organization
Should be a self-starter requiring minimal direction, exercising latitude in determining goals of the assignment
10+ Years of research and development experience building embedded telecommunication products
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or closely related field
Practical understanding of data structure, algorithms and design patterns
Experience in ARM, MIPS architectures
5+ Years of hands-on experience developing device Drivers, kernel Modules and application programs in Linux or other embedded RTOS environment using C/C++
Ability to use embedded software development tools including debuggers, protocol analyzers etc.
Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Lua, Node.js etc.
Knowledge in one of the wireless protocols – WiFi, Zigbee, BLE, LoRa
Strong analytical and debugging skills with customer-facing products experience
Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills
Exposure to cloud-based architectures – AWS, Azure, GCP
