General Summary



This position requires engineers with strong networking skills and having minimum of 8+ years of relative industry experience. This position requires the engineer to lead small to medium size team, able to work with offshore team for timely results. Strong L2/L3 skills with additional cloud expose is must. The position the engineers to have strong hands python programming knowledge. Good communication and interpersonal skills who can work with multiple team for producing results.



Duties & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for platform, functional, scaling, stress, performance, and system testing of L2/L3 gigabit Ethernet switching/routing systems;
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, and test topologies to verify standards compatibility, functionality, interoperability, conformance, regression, and systems-level readiness for customer implementation.
  • Design the customer network topology and validate the routing/switching hardware and software on the customer network.
  • Automate test cases and publish the test process and results for every release.
  • Triage and debug the customer network issues and work on coming up with the solutions and fixes.



Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

  • Strong L2 and L3 protocol knowledge
  • Strong python programming language skills
  • Strong communication
  • Able to file defects on the product and work with Development counter-part for solution
  • Able to write test plan and deployment guide.
