Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on the job training and participate in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events!

What to Expect:

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be responsible with helping to implement product development process improvements, support design work, and testing of ethernet apparatus products. You will work closely with the Inside Plant Copper R&D engineering team and test lab to help bring new products to market while supporting the current product portfolio.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Improving existing designs to enhance product performance, quality, and cost.
  • Partnering with senior level engineers in DFMEAs and design reviews.
  • Coordinate quick turn prototyping to support design verification.
  • Initiate, execute, review test plans and results as required.
  • Analyze product and/or component level failures for root cause.
  • Create and/or update documentation for process improvements and design guidelines

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company
