Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for generating and assisting with product sales by providing customers/potential customers with value added services, exceptional customer service and attention to customer profitability. Primary responsibility is new account development, with emphasis on account with $5000 and more sales potential per week. Knowledgeable of product information, industry trends, and related technology. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement pricing strategies with customers, which achieve an acceptable level of profit margin. Meet financial sales goals. Increase business through combination of account penetration/customer prospecting efforts. Implement efficient sales processes and procedures to meet customers’ demands. Works with assigned Account Managers on specific high-volume prospects. Finds and utilizes market information regarding new account openings and existing account prospects. Turns market information into engaged, active account prospects. Developments target account list and updates progress with his/her supervisor on a periodic basis. Performs other related duties as assigned.
